Stage one sells out at Wirraway

New homes line the streets in stage one

After a sold out first release, Wirraway is well on its way to becoming a bustling new community with nearly 90 families choosing to call the new community home.

Situated in the lower Hunter Valley, Wirraway is ideally positioned for families looking to balance convenience and tranquillity. With Newcastle and Maitland only minutes away by car, life at Wirraway means you get the best of both rural and urban living.

Local residential property expert Sam Budden, from Colliers International in Newcastle, explains that Wirraway’s popularity is widening the horizon for prospective buyers.

‘We had a lot of interest from first home buyers and families who are priced out of the Newcastle market, looking at areas like Maitland and Thornton that are thriving,’ Mr Budden said.

‘Wirraway challenged the status quo—creating a sustainable and high-quality option that offers real choice and great value for prospective buyers.

‘Interest rates are at a record low, couple that with the Government grants for eligible first home buyers and stamp duty exemptions on vacant land, the great Australian dream is still well within reach if you know where to look.’

Wirraway will one day be home to more than 500 families, with stage two to launch this August. It is close to community facilities, shopping centres and schools, and is well-serviced by public transport.

The proposed community park at Wirraway is designed to enable future residents to cycle the shared pathways, workout at the fitness stations or enjoy the aviation themed play equipment and half-sized basketball court.
