Spread your wings at Wirraway

The first release of land at the Hunter Valley’s newest residential development is about to take flight.

Wirraway, is a collection of beautifully appointed land lots nestled within a parkland neighbourhood at Thornton, just 27 kilometres from Newcastle. The first release in the masterplanned community offers something for everyone, with generous-sized land lots ranging from 460–1,390 m2 starting from $210,000.

‘Wirraway graces one of the lower Hunter Valley’s most coveted positions,’ said Peter Howman, Managing Director of Defence Housing Australia (DHA), who is developing Wirraway.

‘The views are breathtaking! Wirraway is set among sweeping rural surrounds, yet it’s only minutes from the hustle and bustle of city life. Wirraway really does represent the beginning of a new adventure for inspired families that want the best of both worlds.’

The development also features more than 16 hectares of green open space, residents can cycle along the scenic pathways, enjoy a Sunday barbeque or workout at one of the purpose-built exercise stations. While the kids will enjoy the aviation-themed play spaces and half-sized basketball court.

‘A key feature of Wirraway will be the community parklands and facilities peppered throughout the development, which will provide a safe haven for families to connect and relax,’ Mr Howman said.

Wirraway will be characterised by serene, tree-lined streets, an abundance of community spaces and will enjoy breathtaking rural views. There will be something for everyone, with premium dress circle lots designed with convenience in mind, perfectly-placed parkland lots that take advantage of the views or generous-sized traditional lots.
